How do we form your cutting blade’s basic shape?
Hyde can use a variety of methods, but generally your blade will be formed through one of two processes. Those two processes are high speed blanking and laser cutting.
High speed blanking is ideal for producing a cost-effect batch of a large quantity of blades. Our presses have a 100-ton capacity.
As for the laser cutting, we have a state-of-the-art CO2 laser. It’s great for materials that are difficult to cut.
Hyde also has a plethora of heat treatment and tempering equipment. Our shop contains atmosphere, vacuum, and salt bath heat treat furnaces.
If your cutting blade needs grinding or polishing you’ve come to the right place. Hyde are masters at the techniques. We also have the latest 5-axis equipment.
Regardless of which method we use, we have the capabilities to handle large and small orders.
To get started, check out our Request for Quotation Form. It’s helpful to include drawings of your part, and if possible, the part itself.
Remember, chances are very good that if you can design it, Hyde can manufacture it (or already has).
Don’t go another day operating without the blade you need. Contact Hyde Industrial Blade Solutions and let us manufacture the cutting blade your business needs.
